Entrance to Five Natural Water Caverns at Kantun Chi in Puerto Aventuras

This adventure allows you to explore a beautiful underground cavern that was recently discovered. The magical underground world is one of the most amazing ones in the Riviera Maya. The cavern consists of two cenotes connected by naturally formed passageways. Through the cavern you will find beautiful natural formations called stalagmites and stalactites. You are welcome to swim and snorkel and for those who want to enjoy the caverns natural beauty but prefer not to swim, there are small kayaks available. The view is quite amazing and beautiful but be prepared to get wet since water is deep enough to reach the chest of an average adult.

Important Notes

Restrictions: Suitable for ages 5 and up. Not recommended during pregnancy or for participants with heart or mobility problems, hypertension, claustrophobia, asthma, epilepsy, diabetes and overweight.

Recommendations: We recommend to bring your bathing suit on, comfortable shoes, change of clothes, towel, sunglasses, sun cap, biodegradable sunscreen and extra cash or credit card for souvenirs.

Inclusions

The excursion includes guided visit to five different cenotes and a maya shrine, hammocks and rest areas, bicycles, kayaks, guided access to the underground river, Mexican food and drinks (flavored water), full equipment (life jacket, snorkel equipment, helmet, water shoes), lockers, dressing rooms, showers, restrooms and use of the facilities until closing time (05:00 PM).
